Great tutorial! It works for 95% on my Ubuntu 11.04 machine, will say I needed to add a symbolic link for the jpeg/png libs (check http://pastebin.com/bh87r5Lw). I used php5.3 in cgi mode and for this example I needed to switch to the php apache module first. I replaced also “–with-jpeg ” width “–with-png-dir ” (this value doesn’t exists and the png lib was missing).
